وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا
By the racers, pantingSurah 100
Al-'Adiyat
العاديات
The Courser · Meccan · 11 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Translations convey meaning. Only the Arabic is the Quran.
فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا
And the producers of sparks [when] strikingفَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا
And the chargers at dawnفَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dustفَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا
Arriving thereby in the center collectivelyإِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungratefulوَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ
And indeed, he is to that a witnessوَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense۞أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scatteredوَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ
And that within the breasts is obtainedإِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ
