أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts youSurah 102
At-Takathur
التكاثر
The Rivalry in world increase · Meccan · 8 ayahs
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Translations convey meaning. Only the Arabic is the Quran.
حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
Until you visit the graveyardsكَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
No! You are going to knowثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Then no! You are going to knowكَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certaintyلَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ
You will surely see the Hellfireثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certaintyثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
